    Abby Dale

Abby Dale is a designer in Pacifica, CA. Originally from Colorado, Abby has been in the Bay Area since 2006. She has a BFA from the University of Kansas, and through her extensive travels has developed her unique aesthetic - a juxtaposition of old and new.

Abby takes pride in breathing new life into objects that have lost their luster. Making something you have thought about getting rid of, something you will love.

Craft+Work is a working art studio! When we aren't holding workshops both Roberta and Abby can be found designing and creating at the studio.

(Best suited for groups 10 and smaller)

  • Shop Talk

Commonly asked questions about our classes and studio

What if I need to cancel?

All class registrations are final. We require a 72 hour advance cancellation notice in order to receive credit for a future workshop. Because our instructors supply materials for each participant in advance, cancellations less than 72 hour in advance will not result in a class credit, but you can gift your spot to a friend and have them go in your place. No refunds will be given.

Some classes have enrollment minimums. Every effort will be made to meet enrollment minimums and make sure the class is held. However there may be instances when a class does not meet minimum enrollment and has to be cancelled (see below). In these cases we will notify you at least 48 hours in advance and a full refund will be issued.

Is there an age limit for classes?

Unless otherwise indicated, our workshops are designed for adults and older teens as they may require the use of sharp tools and detailed instruction. Children 12-16 years old require the presence of an adult parent or guardian participant. At this time, unless a workshop is specified as such, children under 12 are not permitted.

    Where will I park?

We have an on-site parking lot that we share with the cafe, tattoo shop and taqueria.

    Will there be snacks?

We serve soft beverages, wine and light nibbles at each workshop/class. For longer workshops and classes you may choose to bring a bagged lunch (we have a refrigerator and microwave oven for your use). There is also a taqueria, coffee shop, and Gorilla BBQ next door.

    What are your open hours?

Our open hours are during craft classes and events and by appointment. We are not a retail store with regular open hours. But when we have a workshop or event our doors are open for you to come in, take a look around and ask questions! To be notified of our workshops and pop-up sale events be sure to subscribe to our newsletter here.

Wait, I saw a class listed and now I can't find it. Where'd it go?

This is the bummer part... Sometimes classes do not meet their enrollment minimum (usually 2-4 students), or we do not have any sign ups at all! It's a total drag when this happens, but because our instructors have to purchase and prepare materials and allow for travel time, we must make the call whether or not to hold the class a few days prior. For this reason we highly suggest signing up for a class earlier rather than later to ensure the class will be held!

Classes that are canceled by Craft+Work, or our instructors due to low enrollment or personal emergency will result in a full-refund.

Have a question not answered here?

Please send us an email and we will get back to you right away!
