Beginner Quilting - Quilted Table Runner - Feb 2
Join quilter and fiber artist Dana Miller for full day of quilting fun! Students will learn how to piece, add borders, layer, baste, quilt and bind a table runner quilt all in one day! You must know how to sew and use your machine in order to attend this class. Bring your sewing machine or use ours. Please come prepared for a long day of learning and fun.
Beginner Class: Students must know basic sewing and how to use a sewing machine.

-Machine Quilting Needles: Machine quilting needles have a specifically tapered, ultra sharp point and  extra stiff shaft to provide better stitch quality through multiple layers of fabric.

About Dana Miller:
About Dana Miller:
A 3rd generation fiber artist, Dana's passion for art started as a child. With a 20+ year career in
design...from graphic design to event design and then quilt design. Her passion for fiber arts has
extended 10+ years by bringing texture and comfort into our everyday lives. Dana has a wide technique
in machine and hand stitching. She receives much joy from making new, artistic creations and sharing
this passion with students, peers and colleagues. She has participated in numerous local craft fairs
including Fog Fest, Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival and the San Carlos Art & Wine Festival. When she is
away from her home studio, she spends a lot of time with family and friends. She is very active in
surfing, snowboarding, hiking and finding inspiration in her love of the outdoors.
