Knitting 101: Beginner Knitting - Feb 29
Those who have always wanted to learn how to knit will love Knitting 101! In this class Heather Marano, of The Merry Spinster, will teach you the basics required to get started. Including: how to cast on, how to perform the knit stitch, how to perform the purl stitch, how to bind off, and how to read a pattern. This is a two-hour hands-on class which includes yarn, instruction booklet, and knitting needles to continue your practice at home. All ages welcome, under 16 requires and adult participant.

Students will learn:

Students will get a handout with step by step instructions and trouble shooting. They go home with knitted swatch they make in class.

About your instructor, Heather Marano
Heather Marano has been dyeing fibers for nearly ten years. She incorporates her dyed yarns into her own knitwear designs and teaches both knitting and dyeing classes in the Bay Area.
