Time to get that sewing machine out of the box! Students will learn all the parts and pieces of a sewing machine and how to use it.
Sewing machines can be provided or you may bring your own. Please specify at check out.
Beginners Class; no experience required.
This is a 2.5 hour, one-session class. Please choose your preferred date below.

We will practice on some fabric scraps and then you will sew your very own envelope pillow cover! Basic sewing tools are supplied. Students must bring items from the class supply list (see link below).

About your instructor Dana Miller:
A 3rd generation fiber artist, Dana's passion for art started as a child. With a 20+ year career in
design...from graphic design to event design and then quilt design. Her passion for fiber arts has
extended 10+ years by bringing texture and comfort into our everyday lives. Dana has a wide technique
in machine and hand stitching. She receives much joy from making new, artistic creations and sharing
this passion with students, peers and colleagues. She has participated in numerous local craft fairs
including Fog Fest, Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival and the San Carlos Art & Wine Festival. When she is
away from her home studio, she spends a lot of time with family and friends. She is very active in
surfing, snowboarding, hiking and finding inspiration in her love of the outdoors.
