Create beautiful art on canvas, using melted beeswax, mulberry paper, tissue, sewing patterns, and found images.
This workshop includes an extensive kit with a melting pot and iron which allows you to make more art afterwards.

This class will be held via Zoom online. A link to the class will be sent to you 2-3 days before class.

You will complete one art piece in class with enough supplies to start a second composition. Participants are encouraged to include a photocopy of a personal drawing, photo, or quote along with other lightweight papers or printed napkins.

The class kit you will receive includes:
• electric melting pot
• mini iron
• beeswax pellets
• bristle brush
• two canvases
• packet of paper ephemera

No previous experience needed. Adults/Teens: all levels welcome!

 

About your instructor:

Elaine G. Chu has taught students of all ages in-person and online. Her work has been featured in "Greencraft" and "Somerset Studio" magazines as well as "1000 Artists’ Books."
