    Giant Knit Blanket w/Cara Corey

    The ever-popular Giant Knit Blanket class is back for one last time this season. Learn how to make a dreamy super thick and cozy knit blanket out of merino wool roving, plus tips and techniques for caring for these blankets. No knitting experience required! Knit and crochet designer Cara Corey will show you how to use a "table knitting" technique, forming the stitches with your hands rather than using knitting needles.

    Don't delay, this class sells out and this is the last time we will be offering it until next winter! Register by Feb. 14th to receive your choice of dyed wool in time, and by Feb. 22nd for undyed wool. Ages 14+

    In this course, Master Gardener, flower farmer, and textile artist, Heather Marano of Bush Poppy Farm will teach you how to start vegetable and flower seeds on your own. From these seeds you can grow whatever you like in their garden, yard or even in containers. Students will learn: how to find their growing zone, what materials they'll need, how to use recycled containers to start seeds, how to understand a seed packet, how to sow the seeds and care for the seedlings, and much much more! You will end up with seedlings for yourself or to share with family and friends. Suitable for the whole family!

    Chunky Crochet Basket w/Cara Corey

    We love these big chunky baskets by Cara Corey Designs. On March 6th you can learn how to make your very own! Cara has updated the class to include a wooden base for the basket. With Cara's guidance, these baskets come together quickly using your only your hands instead of a crochet hook. Use the basket to store craft supplies, toys, books, masks, etc. Once you learn the technique, you can adapt it to other sizes and materials. Register by February 28th in order to receive your kit in time for class.

    Try your hand at dyeing eggs for Easter this year using natural dyes. Food items you already have in your kitchen, as well as powdered natural dyes, can create beautiful colors!
